Margarete Taqueti
Margarete Taqueti graduated in Dentistry from the Federal University of the State of Espírito Santo (UFES) and has a postgraduate degree in Public Management from the University of Vila Velha (UVV). Margarete worked at the Secretariat of Culture of the State of Espírito Santo as Coordinator of Cinema and Video and Audiovisual Deputy Manager between 2002 and 2010, promoting important initiatives in the sector. Among other activities in the cultural scene she stood out as a film club member, researcher, scriptwriter, TV producer and audiovisual director since the 80s.
Mariana Nunes graduated in Theater Interpretation at the na Faculdade de Artes Dulcina de Moraes (Brasília-DF), studied acting for TV and cinema at Instituto del Cine (Madrid-SPA) and has a long career in cinema as an actor in films such as Zama (Lucrecia Martel, 2017 ), Pelé – The birth of a legend (Jeff Zimbalist, Michael Zimbalist, 2017), São Jorge (Marco Martins, 2016), Overgod (Gabriel Mascaro, 2019), among many others .

instagram.com/marianasousanunes/Rafael de Luna Freire, Ph.D., is a Film Professor in the Film and Video Department and in the Film and Audiovisual Graduate Program at Federal Fluminense University (UFF), in Niterói, Brazil, where he is the Head of the Audiovisual Preservation University Laboratory (LUPA), the first film archive in Brazil dedicated to small-gauge film.
Rafael has been active in the Film Preservation field for more than fifteen years. He was Head of Documentation at the Film Archive of Rio de Janeiro’s Museum of Modern Art (Cinemateca do MAM) and is a founding member of the Brazilian Association of Audiovisual Preservation (ABPA). Rafael coordinated the project of restoration of the feature film Antes, o verão, directed by Gerson Tavares in 1968, and he is the creator of the blog
www.preservacaoaudiovisual.blogpost.com, the oldest website in Portuguese dedicated to film preservation. Finally, he was responsible for the local organization of the Audiovisual Preservation Exchange program of the Moving Image Archiving and Preservation M.A. at the New York University (MIAP-NYU), in Rio de Janeiro, in 2018.
As a film scholar, Rafael has published many books and articles on the history of Brazilian cinema.
